Pressurised Systems

`` ATASH `` Pressurised Solar Water Heating Systems

Expert Engineering

These are systems where the inlet to the Solar Tank is through a Pressure Pump (or a very high tank) such that these systems do not have an air-vent (as in normal atmospheric vented systems), but have a safety valve instead to release the pressure build-up inside the tank .The tanks of these systems have dished end construction and are of a higher thickness to withstand a working pressure of 5 kg/sq.cm. Typical inlet pressure from pressure pumps are around 3-5 kg/sq.cm.

These Systems are usually installed in residential bungalows and some commercial establishments where there is a need for higher pressure of water to run showers and other bathroom equipment such as Bathtubs, Shower Panels and Jacuzzis.
