Grid Connect Rooftop Ed System

This is the latest concept in Solar Power Generation in which SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES (PV MODULES) are directly connected to the Electricity GRID through a GRID TIE SOLAR INVERTOR, The DC power produced in the PV modules is converted into AC current by the Inverter and the same is synchronized and fed into the Grid. As long as the PV Modules are producing power, Solar Power is preferentially used. After that Grid Power continues to be used as usual.

As per the Government’s new Net Metering Policy any excess power produced say on holidays/shut down etc., can be transferred back to the Grid through a Forward/Reverse (Import / Export) Meter which will have to be newly installed, by applying to your service provider (say Reliance, TATA, BEST MSEDCL etc). The Solar Power producer will get a refund for the power fed into the grid and will be billed on the Net Power consumed.
